Construction is fully underway at Turnpike Shopping Center in Fairfax, VA. A groundbreaking ceremony was held in late August with work commencing immediately. The 104,000 SF center is undergoing a transformation with a new façade and the end of the building (fronting Pickett Rd) will open up with the installation of storefronts featuring outdoor seating and upfront parking. Leasing for the center has ramped up significantly with the signing of Ross Dress for Less as the anchor. Currently, the center is 92% leased – nearly double what it was just a year ago!
