Jonathan Shartar oversees retail leasing, construction and investments in the firm’s portfolio of shopping centers and mixed-use projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan market, managing key relationships with retailers, brokers and partners. With nearly two decades of experience across the full real estate investment lifecycle, Jonathan brings a rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Prior to Combined, Jonathan served in senior leadership roles in acquisitions and asset management at ECHO Realty and Madison Marquette Real Estate.

Jonathan holds a BA in Economics from Amherst College and an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is an active member of ICSC and ULI.
