Giant Food to Anchor New Mixed-Use Development in the City of Fairfax
Washington, DC (August 3, 2017) Combined Properties, Incorporated is pleased to announce that Giant Food has signed a lease for a 54,000 square foot, full-service grocery store with pharmacy, at Scout® on the Circle, a new mixed-use development located in the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
Scout on the Circle is a transit-oriented development that will feature 400 Class-A apartment units, 29,000 square feet of small shop retail, and anchored by the 54,000 square foot Giant Food. The project is prominently located at Fairfax Circle, flanked by Routes 50 and 29, providing great visibility and easy access to major highways.

The grocery store component was one of the critical elements to move the Scout project forward. Combined Properties is working diligently with Mayor David Meyer and municipal leaders from the City of Fairfax to finalize the necessary approvals and permits for the project. Combined Properties expects to begin construction on the project late 4Q 2017 – 1Q 2018.
